For the Umatuna Si Yu’os

From Friday, Jan. 12 to Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, the Guam Cursillo Movement hosted a Women’s Weekend at the Malojloj Retreat Center. Catholic women between the ages of 18 and 60 spent three days and two nights of prayer and other activities designed to bring people closer to Christ.

This is the 42nd Women’s Weekend and is typically held once or twice a year.

The Guam Cursillo Movement is a member of a worldwide movement of the Roman Catholic Church under the Archdiocese of Agaña. The movement teaches the foundations for living a Christian life wherein one’s spirituality may be developed and shared.

The three-day weekend experience is a joyous introduction into a supportive and growing community of friends in Christ… Men and women who are working to bring Christ into their everyday life.

The Cursillo method supports living a life in union with Christ and desires to bring others in our community closer to Christ. For more information please contact the Guam Cursillo Movement at
