Starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 26, at Tai Mercy Convent, the Mercy Associates spent quality time in keeping with their Lenten Journey. They experienced a Lenten pilgrimage contemplating the places Jesus traveled before his crucifixion and after the Resurrection.  Facilitated by Academy of Our Lady Theology teacher and Mercy Associate, Mr. Ivan Pineda, several Associates engaged those present in contemplative presence in different places including Jesus’ baptism at the River Jordan, Capernaum, Bethany where Jesus visited the house of Lazarus, the Garden of Olives, the Via Dolorosa, and the road to Emmaus. The retreat ended with the Stations of the Cross. The retreat ended with the Stations of the Cross. There was also a planning meeting for an Easter egg hunt which will be organized for children in the “Zero Down” housing area in Yigo.
