Walk For Life 2017 at Agaña

For the Umatuna Si Yu’os

“If I but give Thee every hour, of suffering and care, how many souls eternally, may in Thy glory share?” – St. Therese of Lisieux

We’ve all been hurt by this culture of death surrounding us, but most especially, those whose lives are not protected even by our laws. As Catholics, what is our response? We work.

We work on laws that protect the unborn and the elderly, and we work on educating the masses. More importantly, we pray and offer a sacrifice. We pray that by our sufferings united with Our Lord’s, may the culture of life prevail.

On Oct. 1, 2017, Sunday, we invite everyone to offer the sacrifice of praying and walking together, at the annual “Walk For Life.” We start at 1:30 p.m. at the Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral Basilica with prayers and an address by Archbishop Michael Byrnes on the power of redemptive suffering. We will then proceed to walk a short course around Agaña while praying the holy rosary, and return to the cathedral.
