For the Umatuna Si Yu’os
The family gathered at their Yigo campus on March 22, 2018, Thursday at 5:30 p.m. for their annual Family Stations of the Cross held around the school grounds and concluded at the school chapel where they prayed for the intentions of the Holy Father, Pope Francis and the intentions of all. They especially prayed for the Archdiocese of Agaña as it continues to celebrate the Year of Reparation. It was attended by members of the school community as well as the members of the Dominican Lay Fraternity.
Meditations and prayers for each station were led by class family representatives from the Pre-K1 to eighth grades, faculty and staff, Dominican laity and the sisters. Since it was first started in 2013, this has been an annual Lenten tradition of the school and has been anticipated and participated by families, faculty, staff, administrators, friends, alumni, and benefactors. It was an opportunity for the whole school community to gather as a family, to pray for one another and to meditate on the Passion of Jesus Christ as a family of God.
DCS is grateful for the participation and support of all for the success of this year’s annual Lenten tradition of the school.
