The Maria Artero Catholic Preschool and Kindergarten (MACPK) celebrated their 50th anniversary on Oct. 21, 2017 at the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Agaña Heights.
Archbishop Michael Byrnes presided over the celebratory Mass and concelebrants were Father Jose Villagomez, OFM Cap., and Father Tom McGrath, SJ.
The Mercedarian Missionaries of Berriz were joined by dozens of family, friends and the school’s alumni to celebrate 50 years of education and service. Following Communion during the celebratory Mass, a special interpretive dance was performed by the current students of the preschool and kindergarten. Several numbers were also performed by the students during the fellowship that was held in the Agaña Heights parish social hall.
